Bettina Stott, resource centre manager with the National Autistic Society, reports that a new youth club will be opening in Horsham for young people on the spectrum. It will run once a week during term-time. It is likely to be near Horsham town centre in walking distance from the train station and the bus terminals (near Argos/ Carfax).
The society is looking at venue options and collecting names of interested young people. It is hoped to have a couple of "getting-to-know-you" sessions before the summer holidays and then start in full in September.
Applicant details (name, address, email, date of birth) should be sent to Bettina.Stott@nas.org.uk. More information is available from Bettine or from the youth club project co-ordinator Kate Jindrova at kate.jindrova@nas.org.uk
